Today we continued with grammar. We graded the work we’ve done over the past few days, and we continued working with gerunds. This is all in class work; the textbooks we’re using must stay in my room. We worked with pages 475-477 (gerunds).
We also continued our folk tales unit, reading “The Grandfather and Grandson” and “Brer Possum’s Dilemma.” Just like we did yesterday, I asked the students questions as we read, they wrote the questions down and turned them in for a participation grade.
The grades for the final drafts of the research paper will be posted this afternoon and students will get those handed back tomorrow.
No homework tonight!
